Ky-ManiWith his third untitled album nearly complete, Ky-mani certainly is a superstar for himself. On February 26, 1976 Ky-mani was born to the famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champ, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. Kymani's name is an East African term meaning adventurous traveler. As an individual living in the spirit of his name Every album or journey has been an adventure. The journey of his musical career began in 1999 with The Journey. With an eclectic vision he was looking for his own niche while exploring the entire musical spectrum, exploring his many talent. As of 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) was a "traditional" reggae album was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey received a great reception across the globe. The album established Ky-Mani's position as an independent musician. Ky-Mani's music is a blend of reggae roots, layered along with hip hop, R&B along with contemporary jazz.
